Greenfield Gothic House in Rural Setting

Started from a greenfield site, this project was a new build of a large gothic house in an open rural setting. The house was built with a dominant central staircase, with barley-sugar ballisters and oak detailing.

The exterior of the house emphasised plaster and cut granite detailing, with an overall feel reminiscent of the Scottish-baronial style which was much-used in Ireland during the early 19th century.
